This article makes a revision of laws, decrees and contents, relative to high education evaluation, edited by MEC, identifying particularities that the High Education Institutions (HEI) must take into account in their inside and outside evaluation activities, under shelter of Institutional Evaluation. It becomes evident, into the analysis, the consecration of the courses as privileged objects to evaluation, in the context of its respective teaching projects and institutional project of HEI. In the end, notices in the need of the specialists and the personal responsible for the Institutional Evaluation of HEI to make a joint of the evaluation programs with the plans defined by institution and the need to look for, into the academic community, the allied personal to the permanent and consequent evaluation of courses offered.
