This article analyzes the university member's ways of speaking so as to find out what they really think about the place where they work, the University, what they think about the relationship between the University and society and what they think about the new politics that nowadays are making internal differences. This study explores if there is any connection between the answers given by the researchers and the career history itself, just as there are obviously many connections with the political process that has been taking place in Argentina in the last decades. The researchers' speeches show that there are many items to be analyzed, both referring to the curriculum and to the task that they are developing: being university teachers and researchers at the same time.
