The study tells a research of institutional evaluation accomplished by IDEG -Institute of Development of Guanabara, institution linked to the Federation of the Industries of the State of Guanabara, in 1970, for SENAI-GB, of pioneering character in your inclusion and methodology. It evaluated the acting of the institution in the period understood between 1965 and 1968, in the courses of vocational training, in four of your schools, in o total of 6.300 students graduated It researched aspects administrative, operational, economical and financiers adopting criteria and indicators to favor o qualitative and quantitative analysis of your acting. It was extremely innovative in your proposal coming to be adopted in, practically, all the Brazilian states, the conceptual bases of the evaluation in SENAI. On the other hand the author tells conceptual aspects that influenced it referred study and others that, now, they were firm in the academic scenery in the field of the evaluation. It is treated · from o contribution to the studies of the evaluation and a fair reference to the merit of the research accomplished by IDEG.
