This research is focussed on the quotidian of physical education in a public -school in Ceara, confronting it with the implications relative to instructions from the latest Law for Guidelines and the Basic for the National Education-LDB nr. 9.394/96, the Parameters for National Currículo - PCN and the Plan of School Development - PDE. I relied, among other writers, Husserl (1990), Heidegger (1979) and Gadamer (1993) to reflect on the epistemological paradigm of German hermeneutic phenomenology. Malinoswki, (1984) to study of ethnographic research. Heller (1970) and Lefevre (1991) on the conceptual basis of daily routine, and on physical education the most important are: Soares (1994 and 1999), Kunz (1994) and Castellani Filho (1998). In relation to the results obtained in this research, is however, that physical education in the investigated school has its paradox: at the same time as it is used for good morals and for keeping students busy with sport- activities, that way fighting drugs, gangs, and the dangers of idleness, it has also the characteristics of being "disorderly" for breaking the rigid quotidian, and therefore seen by parents, employees, teachers and central managers (director, pedagogical and administrative - financial coordinators) as cause of a school • disorder.
