This article aims to identify elements related to teacher Education in the curricular components of evening degrees of the Federal University of Bahia (Ufba). The study was conducted through documentary research, with quantitative approach, being analyzed 381 curriculum of 12 degrees. The analysis showed that the Pedagogy degree, followed by the Computer Science and Mathematics degrees, have a higher concentration of curricular components focused on teacher education. The Letters degree had the largest number of curricular components with emphasis on technical training. It is concluded that the deficiency of innovations and advances in teacher education do not enable graduates to pursue a teaching career with a consistent basis of daily practices necessary for the teaching-learning process.
