Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) face various barriers in their cognitive development, especially in daily social interactions. The learning of these individuals does not follow a conventional pattern, as they are frequently diagnosed with deficits that can affect knowledge acquisition, such as communication and socialization difficulties. This systematic review aims to investigate and deepen the understanding of the factors that influence the learning of individuals with ASD, considering an approach that articulates the characteristics inherent to the autistic spectrum with the school environment configuration. The Methodi Ordinatio was applied to filter and select the documentary corpus, resulting in a selection of 15 articles. The data analysis was performed using bibliometric analysis, combining the R software with the Bibliometrix package. The evidence suggests the importance of discussing factors that need to be understood in the interaction between deficits related to ASD and the school environment, which can be crucial to facilitating the advancement of cognitive processes in these individuals.
