This article examines some recent works in the education field, especially in childhood education, about subjects of pedagogy work organization, selecting the space as center of the debate. Local and international authors were selected, as a result of recent publications in the Portuguese language. The analysis is done, particularly from contributions of the geography field, with Milton Santos and Historia´s reflexions standing out with the Spanish researcher Antonio Viñao Frago. The goal is to contribute for the curriculum/education propositions directed to younger kids, and also add to the investigation of the school space subject.
