The production of stigma in individuals with some mark considered devalued by social standard is old. The individuals with disabilities, in the list of the visibly marked ones, were and are stigmatized because they do not match the demanded standard for a social model. In the same situation, the individuals with characteristics of high abilities/giftedness also carry on with themselves prejudices, labels and discrimination because of their differences. In this way, the aim of this paper is to reflect about the possibility of individuals to have twice special education needs (TSEN), which are: high abilities/giftedness and disability, and with this, the situation of twice stigma. The methodology used in the present paper was conducted by bibliographical and documental researches. The results indicate that there is scarceness of studies about TSEN and the students in this condition enrolled in the Brazilian schools might present the twice stigma.
