Resumen

BACH JUNIOR, Jonas. Intuitive thinking as the foundation of education toward freedom. Educ. Rev. [online]. 2015, n.56, pp.131-145. ISSN 1984-0411.  https://doi.org/10.590/0101-4360.41520.

This paper introduces the concept of intuitive thinking of Rudolf Steiner. The rational thinking only reaches one level of apprehension of reality. Through a phenomenological observation of thinking, the intuitive quality of thinking becomes possible. The product and producer are in unity in this observation. The subject's self-education is the process of education toward freedom. So the achievement of the intuitive level requires a cognitive improvement through a heuristic path. Acting in the world based on intuitive awareness is the foundation of a higher ethic. The subject may establish authentic guidelines for his action when he educates himself.

Palabras clave : Steiner; phenomenology; intuitive thinking; self-education.
