Abstract

MATTOZZI, Ivo. Museums as part of history subjects: a didactic transposition question. Educ. Rev. [online]. 2015, n.58, pp.69-85. ISSN 1984-0411.  https://doi.org/10.1590/0104-4060.43470.

The aim of this text is valuing museological didactics in face of history curricular teaching, which prevented it to be an episode or a project. The museum teachers should elaborate offers in the view of the curriculum and the teachers should be able to establish knowledge experience considering the museum, in the annual class plan also in secondary schools. We will follow our goal taking archaeological and historic museums. We did not present laboratories on art museums, but the procedures and activities that we will propose can be easily transferred to them. The aim can be taken by the conditions of: a) thinking about a continuous vertical curriculum; b) thinking about the museums related to history learning; c) thinking about the link among them; d) thinking about the didactic-functional transposition to the processes of history teaching and learning.

Keywords : museum; history curriculum; didactics.
