This paper analyses teaching internship reports produced by future primary education teachers in the context of a professionalizing master course for the 1st Cycle of Basic Education in a Portuguese public higher education institution (University of Aveiro). The aim is to understand, on the basis of the reports written and discussed by the future teachers, the training potential of a pedagogical-didactic work that elects linguistic diversity as an intervention object. It analyses the discourse of teachers in initial training, collected under a framework of action, research and training, whose aim is the writing of the supervised teaching practice report, with a view to understand the professional knowledge construction potential that writing spaces on education practices for diversity offer, identifying challenges and possibilities that are currently posed to the initial training of teachers.
