Abstract

SILVEIRA, Éder da Silva  and  MORETTI, Cheron Zanini. Memories of a clandestine education: Brazilian communists and political schools in the Soviet Union in the 1950s. Educ. Rev. [online]. 2017, vol.33, n.66, pp.193-208. ISSN 1984-0411.  https://doi.org/10.1590/0104-4060.50178.

The following paper intends to strenghten the diversification of topics and sources in the subject of History of Education and it also seeks to understand which were the education processes driven by Brazilian Communists on education lived in the former USSR, in periods which they were relegated to clandestinity or/and illegality. For this, we did content analysis of autobiographical and interview sources. We argue for a History of Education of Brazilian communists since we present the relations of political internationalism of communist parties and common political education of its leaders. Following this, we also identify the training "schools" that took place in USSR, and presented some memories by Jacob Gorender, Manoel Jover Teles, Hércules Correa and Osvaldo Peralva, subjects that militated on the PCB and that, in the 1950s, integrated "networks of policies schools." It is understood that there was a complex education network organized in the underground and that the courses held in Brazil had a preparatory character for different activities of militants in the national territory, and / or functioned as selective processes for admission to training courses in USSR that Combined different theoretical and practical knowledge, aiming at the preparation of "professional militants" for the conduct of the parties and the revolution.
