This research presents the partial data from a research focusing the role of school-based teacher training in the teacher professional development. The investigation occurred in a private school on the outskirts of Lisbon, in Portugal. This paper presents the results from the data collection that allowed to characterize the teacher training policy of the school, scholar organization that is structured in an educational project of Ignatian inspiration and in a sea curriculum that seeks to promote a constant interdisciplinarity. The main conclusions of this study point towards an effective establishment of a community learning that reflects in and over the practice.
