This paper presents the current research perspectives in the area of Mathematics Educations in Peru. To that aim, the area's development; its different institutions, groups and research lines; as well as the current progress associated to projects in this area are summarized. The productions and current researches evidenced in this paper are studies carried out in the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, in the technology and visualization lines, as well as mathematical modeling and didactic-mathematical knowledge.
