Abstract

The work reveals, through the life story methodology and the memories of the interviewed characters, which trajectories are linked to social contexts. In this case, the socializing processes of four retired teachers and four teachers are marked by the history and formation, in its bases, of the Amapá educational system located in the northern Brazilian Amazon, as well as by singular individual paths, but that evidence the context of the region from the mid-twentieth century.
