Resumen

This paper presents my experience with social projects and movements as well as with music. This thematic was widely discussed and implemented in the last decades in Brazil through multiple spaces and by diverse planning and actions. Among the objectives of the project, the fact that, it makes possible that these youngsters had the opportunity of conducting activities of musicalization by means of instrumental practice and also creating an instrumental group for presentations in other scenarios, must be highlighted. This experience brought specific contributions in relation to working with flute and the organization of an instrumental group with youngsters participating of social projects and, certainly, the knowledge which occurs in the social and musical interactions that emerge in the exchanges between youngsters, the research assistant and I, are unique and enable us to rethink social and musical practices.
