The reflections which inspired this paper surged during the experience of CAMOSC - Agronomy of Rural Social Movements Program , undergraduate program designed especially for peasants, which relates activities of learning and open university programs, being developed at UNEMAT (University of Mato Grosso). This program is part of public policy developed by PRONERA (National Program for Education in Agrarian Reform). When trying to understand educational practices and the context that involves biologic peasant family farming , some provocative questions arose, and we tried to formulate them under theoretical approaches that allow us to discuss the meanings of work and education, of urban and rural, of solidarity economy and biologic farming.
