In the contemporary world, we may observe the proliferation of diverse productive initiatives focusing self-managed collective work, in the face of a scene of changes which are occurring in the world of work, followed by some transformations not only in the forms of management, but of organization of the productive system. Such scene has brought striking for the workers with the reduction of ranks of work, precarious works, increase of informality, etc. In the face of this situation, some workers began to look for other possibilities to generate income, among them we can mention solidary economy. They are productive initiatives that have looked to follow a way different from the history of the Brazilian cooperatives. They have counted with academic contribution in the sense of assisting in the process of constitution and development of solidary economic enterprises wanting to work under the approach of self management. This paper aims to show the experience developed by the team of the Center of Technological Unitrabalho/Incubator of Solidary Economic Enterprises of the Federal University of Sergipe - UFS in the field of solidary economy, specifically in the activity of incubation. The Nucleus/Incubadora/UFS has been developing along three lines of action: teachers’ formation; the periodic formation of the team of the Incubator; and the work of systematic follow up to the enterprises. The incubation process has required the adoption of some methodological lines of direction, whose base is supported in constructed pedagogical processes from experiences, exchanges of knowledge and of communications. Those strategies aim to give greater internal and external visibility to the developed actions. It has revealed that it is necessary to understand the several nuances that involve the position of the team involved in the incubation, the objective conditions faced by the enterprises, the necessity of public politics that support the groups, cultural changes, among others.

Palabras clave : Solidary Economy; Incubation; Methodology.
