Biographization may be described as a competence which is imposed to us by the process of modernity. With the emergence of modern societies, we are socially constrained to be both individual and unique. Everything that we live must passed through us. The world in which we live and in where we can act is the world that we constructed. This clearly does not signify that our actions are aleatory. They obviously depend upon impulses which influence us from outside. They are nevertheless, our social process, which molds us. Biographization is thus the capacity to combine those internal process with the external conditions of sociability. With this, process of individual learning emerge, at the same time as social change process. For this reason, biographization is a tool to mold the modern world.
