This paper relates the history of the university reform, derived from the Bologna Process in the European Union. We alyses the investments of the European Union in higher educationy, as a political decision originating from the Lisbon Strategy in favour of the internationalization of higher education. We correlate university management and the construction of the European Higher Education within the development policy of the supranational organization aiming at building the European knowledge society.
