In this article, the main characteristics of a research Project on Sexual Education are analyzed. The project is oriented by a feminist epistemological critique and it has been studying educational policies in Argentine since 2006. It is based on a participatory action research methodology that takes into account that bodies are sexed and it presents the following characteristics: feminist reflexivity over the basic assumptions underlying the research; systematic egalitarian relationships between professors and researchers; a definition of “school knowledge” as a patriarchal construction; “objectivity” as intersubjective construction; multiple pedagogical actions leading to a non-sexist and non- heteronormative sexual education in schools. In this way, it is developed an epistemic authority about a valid standpoint - what should be accepted as “believable” and from whom believable knowledge should be accepted when doing research on educational policies on gender and social building of sexed bodies.
