This article aims to demonstrate how it is configured the presence of gender and sexuality in the Pedagogy course and the aspects noted by this process. This study is of a qualitative nature. We applied semi-structured interviews to six professors of a Pedagogy course. According to the results, issues around gender and sexuality in that course are crossed by a silence policy both in the curriculum, as materiality, as in the context of the identities of some students and in the power relations established among professors of the course. But, at the same time, we see processes, practices and subjects that enunciate and claim the imminence of these meanings, seeking to produce new ideas and feelings about gender and sexuality in the context of initial formation of teachers. Thus, we identified that professors share anguish, concerns, expectations, ideas, practices and point out the presence of gender and sexuality in the course by audacities and transgressions, which occur through arrangements that sometimes cause tension and silence, without ceasing producing meanings and subjects and being produced by them.
