The objective of this paper is to present the research with children in the scope of the Post-graduation Program in Education of Pará State University- UEPA (PPGEDUEPA). The analyzed productions, from 2007 to 2015, are related to children who are the subjects of the researches. The question investigated is: Which loci, methodological strategies and main themes have been analyzed in the researches with children carried out by the master students of PPGED-UEPA in the Amazonian context? It consists of a research of bibliographic and documental type, and a state of knowledge. In the data analysis, thematic categories were constructed. The main theoretic references are: Oliveira & Teixeira (2010); Sarmento (2005); Corsaro (2011); Kramer & Santos (2011). Among the themes are: playful experiences with toys and games, the children’s knowledge and words about childhood and school, and social representations on day care and school.
