This paper is the partial result of the conceptualization exercise of the doctoral research called Elements that constitute the school culture in a rural context. The theoretical and epistemological relationships between school organization, school culture and the role of the educational manager in a critical perspective of education are explored. Likewise, curriculum, training and context components are approached to propose an alternative with elements that allow undertaking actions that address educational management with another look.
