Abstract

(UEPG), Tânia Parolin da Cruz  and  (UEPG), Simone de Fátima Flach. "SCHOOL WITHOUT PARTY": THE (MIS)LEADS OF THE MOVEMENT AND THE BILLS. Revista da FAEEBA: Educação e Contemporaneidade [online]. 2020, vol.29, n.58, pp.17-31.  Epub Dec 15, 2020. ISSN 2358-0194.  https://doi.org/10.21879/faeeba2358-0194.2020.v29.n58.p17-31.

This paper aims to discuss the fundamentals that guide the Movement and the so-called “School Without Party” bills and their possible impacts on the educational supply and the autonomous work of teachers in Brazil. In order to do that, based on a bibliographic and documentary research, and also having as theoretical and methodological basis the historical and dialectical materialism, the text presents some fundamentals that guide Bills, contextualizes the social and political conditions that strengthen the proposals and makes considerations about their impacts on education and teachers’ work. It is concluded that the struggle for an education focused on the foundations of democracy needs to be strengthened to the detriment of conservatives who carry authoritarianism, control, subservience and, consequently, fear.
