This article presents results from a research whose goal was to investigate the perception of schoolteachers of public and private Schools from Salvador /BA about the Unpolitical School Project, as well as, possible implications of this project for social participation movements and also for the Brazilian democratic process. In this perspective, the adopted investigative approach was, the study of case, with the perspective of understanding the perception of the referred project and its implications for the day-by-day school. For the data collection and validation of the research we used multiple sources of evidences, literature review, documental analysis and application of questionnaires. Based on data analysis we infer that most of the teachers realize that the project is a threat to democratic process, as it limits dialogue, threats for freedom of expression and casts doubt about the right of diversity.
