Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Marta Regina Furlan de  and  BATISTA, Cleide Vitor Mussini. THE (IM)POSSIBLE TO BE EDUCATED IN TIMES OF CRISIS: PSYCHOANALYSIS AND CRITICAL EDUCATION. Revista da FAEEBA: Educação e Contemporaneidade [online]. 2020, vol.29, n.60, pp.17-30.  Epub Aug 24, 2021. ISSN 2358-0194.  https://doi.org/10.21879/faeeba2358-0194.2020.v29.n60.p17-30.

Psychoanalysis shares with critical education the concern with human subjectivity, since it provokes investments and emotions that allow reflections in times of crisis, mainly by inspiring in teachers a permanent return to themselves, that is, self-reflection. This paper aims to seek, in the relationship between psychoanalysis and critical education, possible references beyond the educational psychologizing view that firms itself on restricted paths of education and teaching formation. The fruitful aspect of this relationship between psychoanalysis and the culture criticism highlights educational thinking through the thresholds of ethics and sensitivity with/for the other. The method, with a bibliographic character, is based on the appropriation of a Frankfurtian reading of Freud's thought, in which he denounces the formation based on the adaptation of the subject and, by the relationship between the theoretical bases, announces an education committed to emancipatory actions of school knowledge.

Keywords : Education; Contemporaneity; Psychoanalysis; Critical theory.
