Abstract

This work analyzes educational formats and pedagogical practices that were constituted in the context of resistance and conflict utilized by the movement of the affected ones from the Tucuruí Hydroelectric Power Plant - UHE Tucurui, giving meaning to the education field and its socio-environmental dimension in a political struggle setting. The politicization of educational experiences that became effective as political-pedagogical praxis in the territorialities of Baixo Tocantins, in the Amazon of Pará. With a qualitative approach, a documentary research is used, which includes the transcription of K7 tapes with original interviews with local leaders and other documents that bring narratives and records that integrate historical memories of these struggles, focusing particularly on the educational dimension that the documents reveal. The results indicate the environmental normalization of struggles and the politicization of educational procedures based on the materiality of work experiences, cultural practices and other alternatives related to the production of existence. It contributes to a rural education project.
