Resumen

OLIVEIRA, Maria Anória de Jesus  y  SILVA, Márcia Tavares. FROM THE "MINES" TO THE GIRLS IN THE LINJU: WEAVING LONGINGS, TRAILS AND (COUNTER)POINTS. Revista da FAEEBA: Educação e Contemporaneidade [online]. 2021, vol.30, n.62, pp.16-29.  Epub 16-Dic-2021. ISSN 2358-0194.  https://doi.org/10.21879/faeeba2358-0194.2021.v30.n62.p16-29.

This text results from the work of the authors in the field of Afro-Brazilian and African literatures for children and young people. It is, in this case, one of the languages of the margins still neglected in academic institutions as a research field (OLIVEIRA, 2010). The aim is, therefore, to highlight some innovative aspects in the following narratives: A cor da ternura, by Geni Guimarães (1998); Entremeio sem babado, by Patrícias Santana (2007); and As tranças de Bintou, by Sylviane A. Diouf (2004). For this purpose, a bibliographical research was carried out, problematizing racism in Brazil and highlighting the importance of the referred literature in the Brazilian conjuncture. The text was (re)structured in a tense moment, of Covid and the upsurge of necropolitics (MBEMBE, 2018). One could not, in this way, ignore the scenario in which it emerges, leading to situate it initially and, also, bring to the scene other points for the present encounter. This is what makes up the first two sections, and, in the following sections, as a counterpoint, we go through the universe of the mentioned literature and studies in the area. Finally, beyond the discouragement and Covid-19, we conclude that the languages of the margins interwoven here are more than an invitation to read and can contribute to nurture subjectivity, sensitivity, and our creativity in the art of weaving the journey.

Palabras clave : Literature for children and youth; languages from the margins; black protagonism; Law 10.639/03 (Brazil).
