Abstract

LIMA, Francisca Vieira; WIESE, Andréia Faxina  and  HARACEMIV, Sonia Maria Chaves. THE WOMEN OF YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION: FROM THE SILENCE OF VOICES TO THE HUMANIZING LISTENING. Revista da FAEEBA: Educação e Contemporaneidade [online]. 2021, vol.30, n.63, pp.131-150.  Epub Mar 09, 2022. ISSN 2358-0194.  https://doi.org/10.21879/faeeba2358-0194.2021.v30.n63.p131-150.

The reflection proposed in this article results from research carried out with women, Youth, and Adult Education students from a municipality in Paraná, to understand their school trajectories and identify the difficulties experienced, the reasons for returning to the school space and the role of education in their lives. Therefore, within a qualitative approach, the methodology used was documentary research and thematic oral history, organized and analyzed in Bardin's content analysis (2016). The results showed trajectories permeated by school dropout, socioeconomic difficulties and prejudices, and education as a way to conquer space in society. The need to listen to female voices was evidenced, knowing their life experiences with a view to the elaboration of humanizing and emancipating pedagogical proposals, considering the context of exclusion to which, historically, these students have been subjected.

Keywords : Youth and Adult Education; women; memories trajectories.
