Abstract

RAYMUNDO, Gislene Miotto Catolino; RAITZ, Tânia Regina  and  GESSER, Verônica. YOUTH IN FOCUS: DIVERSITY IN THE PROFILE OF SUBSEQUENT TECHNICAL COURSE STUDENTS. Revista da FAEEBA: Educação e Contemporaneidade [online]. 2021, vol.30, n.64, pp.266-285.  Epub Mar 19, 2022. ISSN 2358-0194.  https://doi.org/10.21879/faeeba2358-0194.2021.v30.n64.p266-285.

The objective of this research is to know and analyze the profile of students in subsequent technical courses. This bibliographic research uses the qualitative approach methodology. For this purpose, a detailed search for scientific production was carried out in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), in the Capes Periodical Portal, in addition to publications on professional education and youth (s). In the collection of information from the selected works, 11 (eleven) indicators were chosen that contributed to understand and analyze the profile of the young students of the subsequent technical courses as socio-cultural subjects who transform their social reality at the same time that they are transformed. The results showed that the profile of these students is constitutive of multiple factors resulting from the living conditions and the different experiences lived in their social and school contexts, culminating in the diversity of identity characteristics. Educational institutions need to be aware of this diversity in the profile of young people and the multiple factors that occur inside and outside the school, only then will they be able to offer a training process with more equity.

Keywords : profile; subsequent technical course; students; diversity; youth.
