The present work aims to bring reflections about the field education and its reflections in the context of Amapa, more precisely on the District of Anauerapucu located in the rural area of Santana-AP, with emphasis on the State School Francisco de Oliveira Filho. The investigation was based on the qualitative paradigm, through the inductive approach method, as well as through bibliographic and documental research. The techniques used for data collection were in situ observations, photographic records and informal dialogues - students, teachers and older local residents - as a form of investigation. The results reveal a certain distance between the discourse, theories and actions in the school space. The issues that guide the debate on Field Education have not echoed within the community, as well as there is an extreme need for the promotion of public policies in the continuing training of teachers, adequate physical structure, as well as specific teaching materials.
