Since the beginning of 2020, the world has gone through emergency demands due to the dissemination of the new coronavirus, which required several measures, such as the implementation of social isolation and suspension of attendance at schools. In view of this, much has been seen and discussed about early childhood education, with the adoption of schooling, preparatory and often exclusionary practices, through proposals for non-face-to-face activities, being worrying. The study is characterized as a case study and aims to discuss and analyze actions and documents of a municipal educational program implemented in the context of a pandemic, addressing dilemmas and challenges, as well as work possibilities. It is considered that technological and digital resources can be configured as powerful tools for support, communication, dialogue and closer bonds between the different subjects involved in the education and care of infants and young children, however, attention, intentionality and recognition are needed. of limitations, so as not to deepen educational inequalities, set back in the achievements of rights and ways of doing childhood education.
