In this paper, we aim to critically reflect on the intersections between digital culture and literature teaching. Through netnography and literature review, we present some possibilities for working with literary texts. These possibilities are contrasted with the analysis of statements present on Netflix, YouTube, and Twitter. This movement results in necessary ponderings for the exercise of teaching, which are discussed in this investigation based on the concept of reification.
