This study on the theme of internationalization in higher education aims to analyze how collaborative networks can contribute to the process of Internationalization of Higher Education. The methodological path of this applied research is qualitative and exploratory in nature and was developed using literature review based on bibliographic research as data collection procedures. The results indicate that economic, political, social and cultural interactions between world nations favored by globalization, make Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) seek academic cooperation, more precisely collaborative networks, as a way to increase the internationalization process. of Higher Education. It is concluded that, from these collaborations, opportunities arise for the formation of cooperation networks that enable innovations in teaching and research, providing greater visibility for research groups and institutions in the global context. In this way, the importance of collective and supportive work is reaffirmed to strengthen both research and internationalization in Higher Education.
