VINAO FRAGO, Antonio. History of education and cultural history: possibilities, problems and issues. Rev. Bras. Educ. [online]. 1995, n.00, pp.63-82. ISSN 1413-2478.

The text presents an inventory of themes and issues which constitute an object of cultural history when this history directs its attention to education. The author examines several aspects of the theme. such as: history of school professions and subjects; history of school space and time, themes researched by the author; history of the mind and the practices of communication. It also analyzes methodological aspects involved in the approaches to these issues, pointing out new possibilities that cultural history opens to school analysis.
