Abstract

This article presents the results of a pilot research project where the aim was to find out the Human Resource Policy in a certain number of corporations. The objective was to conduct an exploratory study to verify which impacts were felt by these corporations with the development of human resource policies. Within this objective, issues were raised concerning the evident transition through which industrial work is passing. Among the issues raised, an option was made to emphasize topics referring to key qualifications required of future industrial workers; the future tendencies of industrial work - polarizing, requalifying, multipurpose training; the manner in which new technologies are introduced; the educational framework of the staff as well as the relationship between business strategy and human resource policies.
