Based on close association with youngsters from organized cheering groups over a period of three years. the author analyzes cases of physical violence in stadiums, with the participation of some of them. The research is also based on testimonies. Headlines in periodicals, fragments of life stories systematized by means of a written press survey. It also briefly goes over some of the more current explanations about certain kinds and expressions of violence observed in youth groups, especially football fan cheering groups.
