Abstract

MINTO, LALO WATANABE. HIGHER EDUCATION IN PNE (2014-2024): NOTES ON PUBLIC-PRIVATE RELATIONSHIPS. Rev. Bras. Educ. [online]. 2018, vol.23, e230011.  Epub Jan 12, 2018. ISSN 1809-449X.  https://doi.org/10.1590/s1413-24782018230011.

This article discusses some relevant aspects to comprehend the National Education Plan, as part of public-private relationships. We analyze the final text of this law and its goals and strategies attached. Public and private are examined on their basis of political, economic and social conflicts, expressing class interests and antagonistic visions of society. In this sense, we point out that, despite the resistance and mobilization possible during local, state and national conferences of education, the new National Education Plan contents are favorable to the private interests on higher education, according to tendencies consolidated mainly in the last two decades.

Keywords : National Education Plan; higher education; public-private.
