Abstract

CUNHA, Niágara Vieira Soares; CUNHA, Marcel Lima  and  FERREIRA, Heraldo Simões. Conception of human training for child education: a state of the question. Rev. Bras. Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.25, e250033.  Epub July 09, 2020. ISSN 1809-449X.  https://doi.org/10.1590/s1413-24782020250033.

In this research we analyze how the scientific community has discussed the concept of human formation in early childhood education. Having the State of the Question, we collected data from the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações), Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) journals, and annals of the National Graduate Research and Education Research (Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação) annual meetings, Work Group 7 - Education of Children from 0 to 06 years. In addition to the methodological framework, we are anchored in the authors of historical-cultural psychology. We identified that the concepts of childhood, child, educating and caring, as well as the theoretical framework of historical-cultural psychology appear significantly as a theoretical basis in the analyzed academic productions, indicating interest in an integral human formation, so we understand that this perspective of education needs to advance in Brazilian schools.

Keywords : human formation; early childhood education; historical-cultural psychology.
