Abstract

This paper summarizes the training of "support-parents", with the proposal of developing skills to help "new-parents" in the situation of diagnostic and after diagnostic of their Down´s Kids. The training helped the participants to acquire attituds and behaviours of cooperation and understanding which may support "new-parents", of children with Down Syndrome, in the situation of helplessness.
