The present text intends to instigate the reflection on polemic themes and almost always permeated by prejudice: sexuality and mental deficiency, mainly when reported to one of the human development period - the adolescence. For this, we discussed the theme from the specialized literature spectrum and research reports based on the fact that the mental deficiency is not a barrier to sexuality manifestation, and besides the genitality, it implies ways of feeling, thinking and acting, proper to people interacting in the society and marking it.
