Abstract

Considering the abstract as a communication and research source, it aims to analyze its structural aspects in order to help the scientific development of Revista Brasileira de Educação Espcial. For that, it analyzesthe logical and linguistic elements of some scientific abstracts already published by the journal. The results show some structural problems what make possible to conclude the need of furnishing specific instructions to the authors about the desirable patterns of abstracts for the purposes of the journal, in order to guarantee their informative character.
