The article relates a pioneer experience in the country, the systematization of the universitarian extension's evaluation. The referred process was developed in the Federal University of Paraná in the year of 1995/96. The Courses and Events; the Complementary Actions; the Programs and Projects and the Institutional Program of Extension Scholarship were minutely analysed. Comments upon the process and its results are reported, as well as the changes, in progress, defined for the evaluation of period 96/97.
