This article deals with the evaluation of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Granada. Its purpose is to clarify the concept of evaluation, the objectives to be coverd and their contextualization. It also analysis the criteria on which the selected methodological decisions are based, pointing out advantages and drawbacks. Finally, we present the evaluation model used in the analysis of the Faculty and the results derived from its application.
