The CINAEM Program developed from an ecological study of the Brazilian Medical Schools, a cross section study of' Faculty, a study of graduands and a qualitative study of the Pedagogical Model. The analysis of these phases, as well as the workshops that were held with participants from almost all Brazilian Medical Schools, shows an innovative trend in the methodology used for this evaluation and in the performance of the agents involved in medical education and activities.
