Since 1993, a study has been carried out among students of Pedagogy at the Education School of University of São Paulo. The purpose of the study was to improve or redirect the educational activities developed in the course. In this article are showed the research procedures, as well results referring to the 1993 freshmen, who completed the course in 1997, with information about their characteristics, academic trajectory and professional future.
