The objective of this text is to discuss the results obtained in the execution of one of the components of the Blumenau Regional University Institutional Evaluation Program - BRUIVP, that is, the evaluation of the institution by the former student, carried out in November and December of 1998. It presents a discussion about the economic profile of the former student, information about the concluded graduation and the profile of the expectation of the former students regarding the institution. These three aspects have been distributed in 27 questions of a structured questionnaire, which has subsequently been read through a scanner and a statistic program treated the data. The results now presented are related to the main items of the General Report of the former students reported to the superiors’ organs of the University (FURB) in 1999.
