One of the biggest challenges of the Brazilian society, in this turn of the century, marked by the technological and globalizing impacts, is to improve the quality of products and services. The movement searching for quality of life has been more concentrated in those more competitive sectors as is the case of the industrial sector, followed by rendered services. Only recently have sectors such as education and health become aware of this necessity of innovation: good quality service. It should be stressed that the delay in the rendering of public service, especially with regard to education and health, is still great and needs re-evaluation. The role of the professional nurse with gain increasing importance in relation to the evaluation of the client's and the team's living conditions.
