This paper presents an experience of university teacher pedagogical training carried out at Unicamp through a program called PECD - Programa de Estágio de Capacitação Docente. It involved doctorate students of all the different fields of graduate programs offered by the university. The paper presents the principles', organization, and results achieved by PECD. The results show that carrying out  programs of this nature is important and also gratifying.
